City College, a centre for Science and Management studies, affiliated to Bangalore University centrally located in posh Jayanagar, South Bangalore.

Jayanagar Education Society (Regd.) with a mission to explore new frontiers in Technology started City Engineering College, which is located at Vasanthapura, Off Kanakapura Road, Bangalore.

The college is spread over an area of 12 acres. The College has all fully equipped laboratories, well-stacked library, workshops and spacious furnished classrooms. The college buildings are architecturally designed meeting functional needs of classrooms, Computer and Electronics Laboratory Library and workshops.

City College is known not only for its academic excellence but also for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere and community spirit. Over 600 full time students study here in a wide range of programs. It is a hub for dedicated, talented, experienced teachers who motivate and energise the students to achieve the best. The admission to B.E. COURSES in our institution will be made centrally at AMC Engineering College . The admission of the candidates belonging to the different categories will be made as under:

On the basis of the Common Entrance Test, COMED - K 2005 or CET-2005 and as per the merit of AIEEE score card.

The candidates who have appeared and selected by COMED - K 2005, CET-2005 & AIEEE are automatically considered for admission to B.E. COURSES. They are required to submit a separate application in a prescribed form to be procured from AMCEC.

For all categories, the basis of admission of 65% approved intake will be as per the CET-2005. The balance 35% of admission will be under Management Quota, who has to fulfill the eligibility criteria.
