Admission Procedure:

  • B.TECH
Successful completion of +2 Science with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science with a minimum of 45% (Aggregate) in Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry /Biology /Biotechnology /Computer Science is a must.
For admission into 1st year B.Tech programme a student has to appear for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) conducted by CBSE. For details visit www.jeemain.nic.in. As it stands now, Govt. of Odisha is not going to conduct OJEE, hence JEE (Main) entrance is the only roadway to take admission into 1st year B.Tech Programmes offered by us. Exams shall be held online or offline as per the choice of the student.
JEE (Main) authorities shall publish two merit lists. One all India merit list the other for Odisha state candidates only. 70% of the seats shall be filled up in Govt. of Odisha counseling, taking students from the Odisha merit list. Around 25% of the seats shall be open for all India merit list, where students of Odisha and pan India can compete.
 Master Degree programme 
Engineering / Technology : GATE qualified candidates or pass or appearing B.Tech/B.E examination from a recognized university with CGPA 6.5 (10 point scale) or 60% marks.
GATE qualified candidates or pass or appearing in MCA examination from a recognized university with CGPA 6.5 or 60% marks only for M. Tech in Computer Science and Computer science & IT branches.
(a) Preference will be given to candidates having a valid GATE score and
(b) non-GATE candidates having a minimum of 60% in aggregate OR CGPA of 6.5/10 at B.Tech./B.E level can also apply.
Non-GATE candidates are required to appear at an On-line Test; GATE candidates are exempted from this test.
Fees Structure:
The Btech Fees is around 70000 per year,For Mtech based on valid Gate score

Placement Activities:

The Training & Placement Office at Nalanda Institute of Technology handles all aspects of campus placements for graduating students. The cell is responsible for mediating between the company and the students.Arrangements for every stage of the recruitment process are made by officials at the office.
The Faculty In-Charge for Placements in consultation with the student representatives oversee all placement related activities at the institute. The Placement Cell coordinates with recruiting companies and handles the entire placement process. The scheduling process is handled accommodating both the needs of the students and the department to ensure that the recruitment process is carried out in the most comfortable and satisfying manner possible.
