Gurgaon College of Engineering for Women (GCEW), Gurgaon was established in 2008 to supply quality Engineering education in varied disciplines of engineering & technology for the welfare of technical and social community. it's been managed by Shri avatar Education Trust. the school is approved by AICTE and Department of Technical Education and related to to Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. the target of the school is to supply educational programs in numerous areas of engineering at under-graduate levels.The vision of the institute is to make GCEW one of the nation’s great engineering institutes, recognized nationally for excellence in Engineering education. The mission of the institute is to produce quality manpower equipped with human and social values required to provide integration of technical skill, social character, leadership, self-confidence, creativity and renovation for benefit of mankind and sustainable development of India.

Scholarship at Gurgaon College of Engineering for Women -
In order to generate competitive spirit among the students, the institute provides merit Scholarships to meritorious students securing positions at the institute level and the university level. In conformity with AICTE policy, the institute provides tuition fee waiver up to 10% of its sanctioned intake to women, economically backward and physically handicapped meritorious students. A topper of each branch is awarded Sir M. Vishvesvariya scholarship up to Rs40, 000/- per year or actual tuition fee whichever is less.
