Shri Balwant Institute of Technology, Sonepat was established in 2006 by  Chanderwati Educational and Charitable Trust in Sonepat, Haryana. approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India and Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Haryana.It is affiliated to DCR University of Science and Technology, Murthal, Sonepat.The institute offers Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Computer Applications, Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Application courses. SBIT believes that good quality never comes accidentally but through focused efforts and high aims. In BBA Programme, we boost potential for business & management positions & general employability in the private, public & voluntary sectors as well as laying foundations for possible self employment. This is 3 year full time degree programme which include 6 semesters and industrial training after 2nd year and project in the final year.

About SBIT BCA Course :-

BCA(Bachelor of Computer Applications) is a 3-year undergraduate programme. The course is designed to bridge the gap between IT industries and institutes by incorporating the latest developments into the curriculum.It is extended over six semesters.

About SBIT M.E/M.Tech Course :-

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.
