The emphasis is on transformational leadership rather than directional leadership. HICET is a comprehensive engineering institution serving all sections of students.   We pride ourselves on the commitment to academic excellence, student involvement, and college spirit.Our college, started by the Hindusthan Educational Charitable Trust, Coimbatore, in the year 2000, has stridden to greater heights to be in league with leading institutions in the state of Tamil Nadu. All the programs offered here are approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to the Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore.To make the college a home away from home, we have well maintained and furnished independent hostels for Boys and Girls on our lush green campus itself.The care and interest shown here in the education and welfare of the students have enabled them to bag several university ranks both at Undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
