Hirasugar Institute of Technology (HIT), Nidasoshi was established in 1996 with the sole purpose of providing quality technical education in various disciplines of engineering. The institute is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. The college offers 4 years full time Bachelor of Engineering degree courses in various disciplines. The forte of HIT is been the delivery of unstinted and devoted technical education to the youths in a best possible manner by a team of qualified and experienced faculty and technical supporting staff.

The students of HIT are provided with additional trainings in most-sought-after skill sets as per the needs of the present day industries. The Institute's main objective is to provide effective technical education and make the students to become better citizens and accomplished technocrats of the nation and also helps students to achieve success in their life by helping them to get recruited into various national and multinational organizations.

I feel very much pleased to welcome  you all to the portals of Hirasugar Institute of Technology (HIT) Nidasoshi. HIT, over the past 16 years of its existence has carved a niche for itself in the service of rendering quality technical education to the rural masses of this region . HIT has gone a step ahead to attract potential students from the neighbouring States of Maharastra and Goa. Most of our alumni and present students are from metros like Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and cities like Goa, Kolhapur, Hubli, Mangalore, Belgaum, Bagalkot, Bijapur etc.
Our students, in addition to regular academics, have also excelled in extra curricular, cultural, and sports activities.  They have made many laudable achievements and have brought many laurels to the Institution. They, time and again, have proved that they are in-line with the students of many top-class institutions across the Country .
Our students are provided with addtional trainings in most-sought-after skill sets as per the needs of the present day industries. Many of our students have been placed in many reputed organizations through our active Training and Placement Cell.

About HIT BE/B.Tech Course:-

The Bachelor of Engineering commonly abbreviated as (B.Eng) is an undergraduate academic degree awarded to a student after three to five years of studying engineering at university or college.B.E/B.Tech Includes

Admission Details of HIT Belgaum:-

To be eligible for admission to the first year of the B E course the students shall have passed the two year Pre-University examination (Science) conducted by the Karnataka State Pre-University Board
OR
Pass in all subjects of final Examination of the 10+2 years course of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as optional subjects and English as a subject of study
OR
Any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.
AND
The applicant should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC /12th Std OR equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry /Bio-Technology /Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects irrepective of the marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test. In case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes,Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (category-1,2A,2B,3A and 3B), the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility is 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination
The holders of the three year Diploma granted/awarded by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka, or of any other Diploma qualification considered equivalent thereto is eligible only through CET allotment for admission to III semester/2nd year of B.E. / B. Tech. in appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology. Such a candidate shall have to clear prescribed bridge courses. The minimum qualifying marks for admission is 45% in final examination of the 3 year Diploma course.
