JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bangalore was established in the year 1997 at Bangalore and is under the umbrella of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysore.JSSATE is the result of the vision of our President, His Holiness Jagadaguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji to proactively participate in establishing a world class Institution for Technical Education.
JSS Academy of Technical Education is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and approved by AICTE. The institute offers Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Technology and Master of Business Administration courses. Institute mission is to provide our student an outstanding and innovative Engineering education, research and personality development.JSSATE, Bangalore has an excellent infrastructure with the state-of-the art equipment and machinery as laboratory facilities. The Institution has spacious classrooms and the laboratories.

About JSSATE M.E/M.Tech Course :-

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis.
Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.
The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.

Admission Details of JSSATE, Bangalore:-

Candidates who have passed PUC/10+2 examinations with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects either Chemistry or Biology or Electronics or Computer Science are eligible. They should score at least 45% of marks in the above subjects taken together.
40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category
