Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology B.Tech Admissions 2015
Applications have been invited by Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology, Guna for admission to
following Direct Admission to 2nd year (III Semester), full time B.Tech Program through Lateral Entry
of Academic year 2015
Few seats are available for admissions in second year (3rd semester) of B.Tech Programs
inElectronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Chemical
Engineering (CHE), Civil Engineering (CE) & Mechanical Engineering (MEC)
The number of students admitted shall be solely dependent upon the performance of the candidates and minimum cut off limit applied by the selection committee on the merit to be drawn
Eligibility
The candidates should have passed:
a) First year of B.E./B.Tech Program from a recognized Institution/University with 60% marks; or
b) Three year diploma programme from AICTE approved polytechnic in the relevant engineering stream with minimum aggregate 60% marks; or
c) Three year B.Sc. with Computer Science or Electronics for relevant branch of engineering with minimum 60% marks
d) Candidates likely to pass the above examination in 2015 are also eligible; however, they have to
produce the passed certificates before 30th September 2015
e) Admission through Lateral Entry Scheme will be given in branches in which the candidates have passed
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma
Selection Process
The admission will be purely on merit, determined by:
(a) Marks obtained in relevant examination i.e. Diploma, B.E/B.Tech and B.Sc Programme
(b) Candidates with B.E./B.Tech and B.Sc background are required to appear in Lateral Entry Entrance
Test ‐2015 conducted at JUET, Guna and Lateral Entry test dates will be announced later
Candidates with Diploma from AICTE approved institution are not required to appear in Lateral Entry test
(c) Selected candidates will be offered provisional admission subject to production of certificates with
proof of qualification / eligibility conditions
(d) The merit list will be displayed on the University Notice Boards and Website and candidates will be
informed through letters and e‐mails also; candidates are required to visit university website regularly for
updates

sending a Demand Draft of Rs.800/‐ in favour of Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology, Guna
payable at Guna
The same may also be downloaded from the website www.jiit.ac.in and sent it along with a DD of
Rs.800/‐ or may be filled online through link available at university website by paying of Rs.800/‐ through
Credit Card/Debit Card also
Those applicants who fill form online but not pay fee online through Credit Card/Debit Card are required
to pay fee through demand draft of Rs.800/‐ and send it along with the photocopy of form filled online at
the university
All filled application forms along with enclosures i.e. copies of marksheets of 10th, 12th, B.E./B.Tech

Fee Structure
Fee for the students being admitted in Academic Session 2015‐16 through Lateral Entry Scheme is as
follows:
(a) Tuition Fee: Rs. 50000/‐ per Semester
(b) Development Fee: Rs. 55000/‐ per annum
(c) Hostel, Mess, Laundry Charges etc: Rs.40000/‐ per semester
(d) Caution Money: Rs.10000/‐ Once (refundable)
Above fee structure is subject to revision from time to time as decided by the management
Hostel Facility
100% Hostel are available separately for Boys & Girls with messing and other facilities
Important Dates
