Karnataka CET 2015 Notification, Eligibility & Dates

Admission to Professional Courses in Karnataka for the year 2015

Applications are invited from eligible applicants of Karnatakaincluding the wards of Jammu and Kashmiri migrants for registration to the Common Entrance Test 2015 to Professional Courses detailed herein under for the seats to be notified by the Govt in the Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka for the academic year 2015-2016.
Karnataka CET 2015 Courses for AdmissionMBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BNYS & BHMS, B.E., B.Tech, B.Arch., B.Sc, B.H.Sc., B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Pharma, B.Pharma (Lateral Entry) and Pharma-D.

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka CET 2015

MBBS/BDS (Medical / Dental): Passed in 2nd PUC/12th standard / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology Subjects (40 percent for SC/ST/CAT-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category applicants).
BAMS, BUMS, BNYS & BHMS (Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy and Yoga) (AYUSH): Passed in 2ndPUC/12th standard / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and obtained minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects (40 percent for SC/ST/Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category applicants)
B.E./B.Tech (Engineering/Technology): Passed in 2ndPUC/12th standard Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45 percent marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science. (40 percent for SC/ST/Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category applicants)
B.Arch. (Architecture): Passed in 2nd PUC/12th standard /Equivalent Exam with Mathematics as compulsory optional subject and obtained a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate in all the subjects (45 percent for SC/ST/Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category applicants) Minimum of 40 percent marks in NATA for all categories of students including SC/ST/OBC.
B.Sc (Agriculture, Forestry, Sericulture, Agri-Biotech, Horticulture, Ag. Marketing and Co-operation), B.H.Sc (Home Science): Passed in 2nd PUC/12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as optional subjects
B.V.Sc & A.H. (Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry): Passed in 2nd PUC/12th standard / Equivalent Exam and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects (40 percent for SC/ST/Cat-1, 2A, 3A and 3B category applicants)
B.Tech (Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering, Food Science and Technology), B.F.Sc (Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences): Passed in 2nd PUC/12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as optional subjects.
B.Pharma.: Passed in 2nd PUC/12th standard / equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and obtained a minimum of 45 percent of marks in aggregate in PCB/PCM subjects. (40 percent for SC/ST/CAT-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category applicants); or Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and has secured minimum of 45 marks. (40 percent for SC/ST/CAT-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category applicants)
2nd Year B.Pharma (Lateral Entry): Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and has secured minimum of 45 percent marks. (40 percent for SC/ST/CAT-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category applicants).
Pharma-D: Passed in 2nd PUC/12th standard /equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; OR Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institutions approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Last date to enter application details online on March 02nd, 2015

For Biology on April 29th, 2015 (Timings: 10.30am to 11.50am)
For Mathematics on April 29th, 2015 (Timings: 02.30pm to 03.50pm)
For Physics on April 30th, 2015 (Timings: 10.30am to 11.50am)
For Chemistry on April 30th, 2015 (Timings: 02.30pm to 03.50pm)
